AUIR33401S active dv/dt control to reduce emi ty pical connection the auir3 3401 s includes a sp ecial gate drive, managing the m o sfet dv/dt controlled internally , b y managing t h e gate voltage d y na mically . to have th e best compr o mise bet w een the emi levels and po w e r loss, during the turn on a nd off phase, the dv/dt output is dv/dt is not linear. the o u tput voltage sha pe is an ?s? shap e. sense load current feedback and pr ogrammable current shutdow n the ifbk pin allow s an analog m easurement of th e load current a nd w i th an e x te r nal resistor allows to program the over current shutdo wn level from 10a t o 33a. th e voltage threshold leve l of the ifbk pin is internall y set to 4v (see the form ulas below). it is also possible to d y n a mically adjust t he curr ent shutd o wn p r otection v e rsus time b y a dding some e x te rnal components. thi s protection is lat c hed. the ope rat i ng m ode is recovered after resett ing b y the sleep mode. min ratio offset appli imax min gnd vifbk rifbk + ? = offset max ratio calculated rifbk max gnd vifbk max ishtd + ? = where: imax appli is the maximum application current ishtd max is the maximum outpu t shutdo w n curr ent internal ov er current shutdow n the maximum current shutdo wn threshold value is internally fixed to 50a ty p. t h is protection is latched. the opera t ing mode is recovere d after r e setting b y the sleep mod e . under voltage lock-out the auir3340 1 s remains operational from uv lo threshold. under this continuous voltage, the devi c e w ill be lo cked until the voltage reco vers the operati ng range, accor d ing to an inte r nal h y steresis fixed to 0, 5v min . the ma ximum rating voltage is given b y the trench v d mos technolog y w h e r e the aval anche voltage is up to 43v t y pically. sleep mode and reset fault: the sleep mode is enabled if the in pin stay lo w ( v in < v in p o w er ) more than tslp time. the consumption in sleep mode is icc off. the aui r 33401s wakes up at first rise edge on the in pin (vin > v in p o w er ). this mode allow s r e setting all the latched faults. (cf. figure 2: wake s equence, sleep mode and r e set latched fault.) wake up sequence: the aui r 33401 s has a po wer o n reset. afte r wa ke up it b y the in signal, the devices wait for t pw r _ on_ r s t b e fore activate the output po w e r mo sfet. this time is necessary to cha r ge pro per l y th e bootstrap capacitor and to stabilize the internal po w e r supply .
